Senior Project Manager

Engineering and Project Delivery

As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead or support the planning, development and implementation of strategic transportation projects of varying scales and complexities. The Senior Project Manager applies project management best practices, including development and oversight of project charters, work breakdown structures, budgets, schedules, risk and stakeholder management tools to ensure delivery on time and within scope.

We’re looking for someone that’s energetic, purpose-driven, and highly adaptable. You will:

  • be capable of prioritizing competing demands, adjusting quickly to change, and making sound decisions under pressure.
  • have a strong background in project management practices and demonstrated experience guiding complex transportation initiatives from planning through to implementation.
  • be collaborative; working frequently with internal teams, external consultants or technical advisors, and a broad network of partners from municipal, provincial, and federal organizations.

Provincial Lead, Community Transportation

As Provincial Lead, Community Transportation, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of community transportation and transit funding programs on behalf of the Province.

We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills, independence, judgement, and initiative. Experience in managing grant programs is preferred. You will:

  • oversee project eligibility and utilizing program criteria to make recommendations on the disbursement of available funds.
  • navigate and mediate concerns or issues among program users and funding recipients.
  • manage the Community Transportation budget, including providing forecast updates and developing funding scenarios for future budget requirements.
