Providing additional ways to access transit services (like providing sidewalks or active transportation infrastructure) provides options to travellers and extends the reach of transit services. This means even more people can access a future integrated transit network.

Action 1.3.4: Facilitate first mile / last mile connections to inter-municipal and rapid transit service.

Infrastructure like sidewalks and multi-use paths to connect to inter-municipal and rapid transit service will provide new options for riders to safely access these services and further help to reduce travel costs.
